HIGH-STREET TRENDS – MISS SELFRIDGE

I know, you’re probably all tired of hearing the word ‘gingham’. I haven’t known a trend blow up this much in a long time, it is literally everywhere and I am loving it.
New-0456This is my second installment of a little ‘blog series’ on high street trends for Spring/Summer. I was lucky enough to assist on the Spring/Summer 2017 campaign shoot for St Stephens so I will be posting a few more of my favourite high street stores and how to shop the trends this season!New-0452Whilst on the styling for the shoot for it was very important to incorporate trend pieces into still rather versatile outfits that anyone can wear. Miss Selfridge has to be one of my favourite styled outfits of the day. Grunge, metallic, leather and gingham; I don’t think any outfit is more up my street than this one.New-0450I feel like Miss Selfridge is one of my shops that really goes under my radar, I never think to actually go in their until I pass it and everything catches my eye. My favourite item in this whole outfit has to be the ruffle-gingham top. Ruffles are also massively in at the moment, so you really get the best of both worlds with this.New-0454 (1)I personally love how this top could be labelled and delicate and dainty, due to its very cute nature. However, being paired with leather and studded accessories it automatically adds more edge to the outfit and gives it a whole newย vibe.New-0447

Shop the trends and recreate this look:
