After reading about all the hype over the release of this fragrance by Dior I had to get a tester from Boot’s and instantly grabbed myself a 50ml bottle. The scent has been described as ‘A bitter-sweet floral with mouthwatering Orange that is delightfully swathed in Venezuelan Tonka Bean and blossoms in the biting sensuality of Grasse Rose.’
The scent is very deep, woody and musky which is so sensual. It’s such a night-time scent almost reminiscent of Black Opium. Poison Girl is more floral scented than the Tom Ford favourite with a sweet end-tone which captivates you. It slightly reminds me of scents my Grandma wore when I was younger but with a younger twist on it, making it classy but edgy at the same time. The scent is so strong and stays on all day, I absolutely love how it clings to clothing and skin with one spray. I wore this for the first time on my way to a 5 Seconds of Summer concert on the 11th and now it just brings back amazing memories and I can tell it is going to be a favourite of mine.
The price marks are slightly higher than other perfumes, but after smelling it I ensure you that you won’t want to live without it in your life. If you pass a retailer selling it, I would urge everyone to go test it and fall in love as I have.
